Parc national d'Aiguebelle

Walk over 2.7 billion years, at the very place where the waters part. Through the beauty and diversity of the landscapes it protects, parc National d’Aiguebelle is the loyal custodian of a rich regional heritage inspired by both nature and culture alike. Several short and long distance hiking trails (51 km) allow one to discover its whole splendour. These lead to a suspended bridge across a fault-lake and to a huge spiral staircase erected alongside an impressive escarpment. They also take you to the summit of the Abijévis hills or to a fire watchtower.

MURALE « Des territoires coulés dans nos veines »

It took almost two years of preparation to create the majestic work that’s now taking place on the south wall of the Rideau Boulevard viaduct. The 6 artists paid tribute to the singer-songwriter born in Rouyn-Noranda, Richard Desjardins. They were inspired by the lyrics of the poet's songs. This mural reflects the feeling of pride that citizens feel about Richard Desjardins’s art. A masterful work art that makes Abitibi-Témiscamingue shine throughout the Francophonie.
